Continuation of the benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “So that He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is forgiveness and a noble provision.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the high rank of the believers who do righteous deeds, as indicated by His saying:
Those أولئك
. The reference here is to something distant, which is due to the highness of their rank. This is similar to His saying:
Alif, Lam, Meem. That is the Book
[al-Baqarah:2], even though the Book is before us, He referred to it with a distant reference due to its high rank.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that in faith and righteous deeds, one attains what is desired and what is disliked is removed, as indicated by His saying:
For them is forgiveness
. This is the removal of what is disliked.
and a noble provision ورزق كريم
This is the attainment of what is desired. Know that when Allah the Exalted forgives you, He opens for you the doors of knowledge and your chest expands with faith, for that which causes the chest to constrict and the mind to scatter is sins.
When Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
[al-Mutaffifin:13]. Look, he does not know the value of the Qur'an; when the Qur'an is recited to him, he says, “The tales of the ancients,” so he does not know its value. Why?
No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning.
[al-Mutaffifin:14]. Because what they used to earn has covered their hearts, so, may Allah protect us, he does not see this great Qur'an as anything but what? But the tales of the ancients. For this reason, some scholars said: “It is recommended for one upon whom a matter descends and he seeks its ruling, whether this matter is specific to him or he is responsible for it, that he should seek forgiveness from Allah.” They cited as evidence for this His saying:
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate.
[al-Nisa:105]. What comes after that?
And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
[al-Nisa:106]. And this is not far-fetched. So, among the benefits of faith and righteous deeds is the attainment of what is desired and safety from what is disliked.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is also that the provision of Paradise is a noble provision, meaning it is vast, abundant, permanent, and good. Evidence for this is His saying:
And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do.
[al-Sajdah:17] and His saying:
(32) And fruit, abundant [and varied], (33) Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,
[al-Waqi'ah 32:33].
