The student: I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan. إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا آبَاءَهُمْ ضَالِّينَ 69 فَهُمْ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ 70 وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ 71 وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ مُنْذِرِينَ 72 فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ 73 إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ 74 وَلَقَدْ نَادَانَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ الْمُجِيبُونَ 75 وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ 76 وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُ هُمُ الْبَاقِينَ 77 وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْآخِرِينَ 78 سَلَامٌ عَلَى نُوحٍ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ 79 إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ 80 إِنَّهُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 81 Indeed, they found their fathers going astray, 69 So they hasten after their footsteps. 70 And indeed, most of those before them have gone astray, 71 And indeed, We sent among them warners, 72 So see how was the end of the warned, 73 Except for the servants of Allah who are chosen, 74 And indeed, Noah called Us, so We are the best of responders, 75 And We saved him and his family from the great distress, 76 And We made his offspring the ones who remain, 77 And We left for him a [favorable] mention among the later generations, 78 Peace be upon Noah in the worlds, 79 Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good, 80 Indeed, he was among Our believing servants. 81
