Commentary on Tafsir al-Jalalayn: (( And We have certainly presented )) We made (( for people in this Qur'an every kind of example )) so that they may remember, that they may take a lesson.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The commentator (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "
And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example ولقد ضربنا للناس في هذا القرآن من كل مثل
[Ar-Rum 30:58]
meaning We made "
This is an interpretation using a broader term, because presenting an example is not merely an action performed for it, but presenting an example is for taking a lesson from it. To present something as an example means to make it a likeness so that a lesson is taken from it. And his saying:
to the people للناس
for every kind of example includes all people, the believer and the disbeliever, so that these and those may remember. And ... this verse concludes our time.

The Shaykh : Ah, there is no problem. For this reason, there are narrations that are subject to scrutiny stating that the Arabic language is the language of the people of Paradise.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes, the fact that Allah chose this great message in the Arabic language is sufficient, as He the Exalted said:
Allah is most knowing of where He places His message الله أعلم حيث يجعل رسالته
[Al-An'am 6:124]
So this place became suitable for this great message because it is great.

The Shaykh : It is known for clarity. If it had come ... in the Arabic language, it would not have been clear, but because He chose ... the Arabs ... this is evidence of its excellence. Yes.
The student: Someone might say ...
