Discussion of the verse: ((Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah and kill the prophets without right...))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : His saying, Exalted is He:
Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets without right and kill those who order justice from among the people إن الذين يكفرون بآيات الله ويقتلون النبيين بغير حق ويقتلون الذين يأمرون بالقسط من الناس
[Ali 'Imran 3:21]
In
they kill يقتلون
there are two readings, yes Khalil?
The student:
Fighting يقاتلون
and
they kill يقتلون
,

The Shaykh :
they kill يقتلون
and
Fighting يقاتلون
.

The Shaykh : Is it possible to act upon both readings, and is there a contradiction between them?
The student: There is no contradiction between them,

The Shaykh : because they kill those who enjoin justice among the people; they kill those who do not fight them and fight those who fight them. Good.

The Shaykh : In
prophets لنبيين
there are also two readings?
The student:
the prophets النبيين
and
the prophets النبيئين
. Good.

The Shaykh : I think it has been mentioned to us that if two readings occur in a verse, it is better for a person to read with this one once and with that one once, just as if the Sunnah came with two attributes of a worship, it is better for a person to do this once and that once. Likewise with the two readings, but a person must be certain of the reading. If he is certain that this reading is one of the seven canonical readings, then it is better to read with this one once and with that one once, because all of them are Sunnah.

The Shaykh : His saying:
kill the prophets without right ويقتلون النبيين بغير حق
[Ali 'Imran 3:21]
O Muhammad ibn Salam, is there any killing of the prophets with right?
The student: Because he made the point of the verse the killing of the prophets without right, so is there any killing of the prophets with right?
The Shaykh : Killing them by way of qisas (retaliation in kind), you mean?
The student: We do not know.

The Shaykh : Good. Is the one killed by qisas (retaliation in kind) blamed for his killer? If the verse is presented in the context of blame? Shaykh? Yes, this verse is to clarify the reality, to clarify the reality, correct? This verse is to clarify the reality and to denounce them, to clarify the reality that they kill the prophets without right, rather in vain, and to denounce these people where they kill these noble ones without right. Yes.

The Shaykh : Allah, Exalted is He, said:
give them tidings of a painful punishment. فبشرهم بعذاب أليم
[Ali 'Imran 3:21]
How was the good news of punishment used, and good news is not to be except with good? And is praise or description with goodness mentioned in a context of mockery? Can a beloved thing be mentioned in a context of mockery? Give an example? An example to strengthen your statement? Yes, Muhammad? The example is in His saying, Exalted is He:
[It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! ذق إنك أنت العزيز الكريم
[Ad-Dukhan 44:49]
Good, this is one aspect. The second aspect, O 'Ayan? The first aspect is that it is on the way of mocking them, and the second aspect? Ghanim? That the good news was used in the context of warning because it is a sign of the news; this appears on his complexion and changes, just as the complexion changes with what pleases.
