The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << فلما جآءتهم ءاياتنا مبصرة قالوا هذا سحر مبين >

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then he said:
But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, "This is obvious magic." فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْهُمْ آيَاتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
[Surat al-Naml: 13].
It is derived from this verse that the proof was established against Pharaoh and his people, as the clear sign came to them.
In this verse, there is also the benefit that the signs of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) contain clarity. Are they clear in themselves—meaning, possessing clarity—or are they clarifying for others? Both. They are clear in the sense that they themselves possess clarity, and they also clarify other things and point to them.
In this is evidence that the signs of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) are clear and distinct, elucidating the truth. Had they not been so, they would not have been signs.
In it is also evidence of the magnitude of the tyranny of Pharaoh and his people, as they said:
This is obvious sorcery. هَذَا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
[Surat al-Naml: 13].
In it is also the exaggeration of the one who holds to falsehood in his claim, as they said:
evident sorcery سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ
[Surat al-Naml: 13], meaning: clear and manifest is what contains doubt.
And so the claimant brings forth words that resemble imitation of creation until he reaches what he desires of falsehood.
And here, why did He say:
This is sorcery هَذَا سِحْرٌ
and not say: "these"? Even though He said:
Our clear signs آيَاتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً
? Muhammad
The student: In order to encompass everything that came

The Shaykh : In order to encompass everything that came, so that it includes Musa himself, making him a sorcerer ....
