The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: <<

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
44 And what prevented her was what she used to worship besides Allah. Indeed, she was from a people who disbelieved. It was said to her, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water, and she uncovered her legs. He said, "It is a palace paved with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Sulayman to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.
...Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
[Solomon] said, "O assembly [of jinn], which of you will bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"
[Surat al-Naml: 38].
In this is evidence for the permissibility of addressing an unspecified person if the identity becomes definite thereafter, because of His saying:
which of you will bring me her throne
[Surat al-Naml: 38]. He did not say, "Come to me, so-and-so." This type of address leads to many legal and informational benefits:
For example, it is permissible to say, "I have married you to one of these two daughters," and then choose one of them, just as the man of Madyan did with Musa.
And among them is that it is permissible to say, "I have sold you one of these two goods for such-and-such," and he chooses one of them.
And among them is, "I have sold you this for ten cash or twenty on credit," and he chooses one of the two prices.
This last issue is not from the category of two sales in one sale, contrary to those who claimed that, for this is one sale, because they did not separate except upon one of the two sales.
Also, regarding two sales in one sale, it has been established for us that there is an explicit, authentic text in Sunan Abu Dawud. What does it imply? That two sales in one sale is the issue of 'inah, by the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
If anyone makes two transactions combined in one bargain, he should have the lesser of the two or it will involve usury.
Sunan Abi Dawud 3461
This is explicit that that is the issue of 'inah. O my son.
If he said, "What is the issue of 'inah?" It is that I sell the item to you for a deferred price, then I buy it from you for less in cash. This is the issue of 'inah.
The student: The same seller buys it?

The Shaykh : Yes. The same seller buys it for less. So now, it is permissible to address an unspecified person legally and informationally, but on the condition that the identity becomes definite before the completion of the ruling.
Here:
O assembly, which of you will bring me?
[Surat al-Naml: 38]. In this is evidence that it is permissible for a person to display greatness before his enemy, because Sulayman intended by bringing this throne to display his greatness and power, and that he was able to bring her fortified throne without a doubt, because as is customary, the palaces of kings must be fortified and guarded, especially something like a throne.
As for the author's claim that he brought it only to possess it, there is no evidence for that in the first place.
