The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << فعميت عليهم الأنباء يومئذ فهم لا يتساءلون>

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the benefits of the verse is that the news of that day will be darkened for the disbelievers, even if they were knowledgeable. Even if they were knowledgeable, this is just as the dead person, when questioned in his grave: Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your Prophet? Even if he was knowledgeable, if he is a disbeliever, he will not answer correctly.
Among them is that no one will benefit another on the Day of Resurrection, as He said:
so they will not [be able to] ask one another. فهم لا يتساءلون
[Al-Qasas 28:66]
Thus, no one will benefit another in the least on that day, nor save him from what has befallen him. Good.
Then He, the Exalted, said:
But as for one who had repented, believed, and done righteousness, it is promised by Allah that he will be among the successful. فأما من تاب وآمن وعمل صالحا فعسى أن يكون من المفلحين
[Al-Qasas 28:67]

The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes, even to the point of His saying:
And the Day He will call them and say: Where are My partners?ويوم يناديهم فيقول أين شركائي
which encompasses all the polytheists, the polytheists. And for this reason He said:
So the news was darkened for themفعميت عليهم الأنباء
As for the believers, they are believers; they are not questioned; their questioning in their graves is sufficient.
