The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << ولا يصدنك عن ءايات الله بعد إذ أنزلت إليك و ادع إلى ربك ولا تكونن من المشركين >> from Surat al-Qasas

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The saying of Allah the Exalted:
And never let them avert you from the verses of Allah after they have been revealed to you
[al-Qasas: 87]. Among the benefits of this verse is the prohibition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from being affected by the opposition of those polytheists to his saying:
And do not let them turn you away
. Second, it is the confirmation of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and that is from two aspects: one is his saying:
from the verses of Allah
[Al-Qasas 28:87]
, meaning that you are now upon the truth. The second is from his saying:
after they have been revealed to you
[Al-Qasas 28:87]
, and this is undoubtedly a confirmation, as he sees that what is with him of the signs of Allah, and the one who knows that what is with him of the signs of Allah will be more upright. And the second is his saying:
after they have been revealed to you
[Al-Qasas 28:87]
, meaning that you are now being revealed to, so you must not be affected by their opposition.
And among the benefits of the verse is that the Noble Qur'an is from the signs of Allah: are they cosmic or legislative? Legislative.
And among them is that the Qur'an is revealed, not created, due to His saying:
after they have been revealed to you
[Al-Qasas 28:87]
.
And among its benefits is the affirmation of the Highness of Allah, for the descent occurs? It occurs from above.
And among them is the affirmation of the prophethood of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). From where?
after they have been revealed to you
[Al-Qasas 28:87]
. And this indicates his prophethood, indeed his messengership, due to His saying:
And call to your Lord
.
And among the benefits of the verse is the obligation of calling to Allah, due to His saying:
And call to your Lord
, and that it is not sufficient for a person to believe and reform himself only, but he must call to Allah.
And among them is the obligation of sincerity in the call. From where is it taken? From His saying:
toward your Lord إلى ربك
, that your call to Allah is not for yourself.
And among them is also that holding fast to Islam leads the servant to Allah, and this is the greatest goal of a person, that he reaches his Lord.
And among them is the prohibition of shirk (associating partners with Allah). From where is it taken?
Do not ever be of the polytheists.' " ولا تكونَنَّ من المشركين
[Al-An'am 6:14]
.
And among them is the permissibility of the occurrence of a prohibition regarding what does not happen legislatively, due to His saying:
Do not ever be of the polytheists.' " ولا تكونن من المشركين
[Al-An'am 6:14]
. For the Messenger, legislatively, it is not possible for him to be among the polytheists, but as a matter of divine decree, it is possible, but after he became a Prophet, it is not possible.
The student: The benefit .. ?

The Shaykh : Its benefit is that the prohibition of a thing may be prohibited for a person even if it is not possible for it to occur from him legislatively. Its benefit is to condemn this matter, meaning that even if it does not occur, do not think that you will be in it.
