The reader: "The fourth aspect of the Sunnah is what they both reported in the two Sahihs from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said
Abu Bakr came in to me while two maidservants from the maidservants of the Ansar were singing what the Ansar had recited on the day of Bu'ath. She said: They were not professional singers. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Is there a flute of Satan in the house of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? And it was a day of festival. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Bakr, every people have a festival, and this is our festival
And in a narration
Leave them Abu Bakr, for every nation has an `Id (i.e. festival) and this day is our `Id.
Sahih al-Bukhari 3931

Also in the two Sahihs, he said
Abu Bakr, leave them alone for these are the days of 'Id.
Sahih Muslim 892c
And those days are the days of Mina, so the indication is from several angles
First, his saying
every people have a festival and it is our festival
Sahih Muslim 892a
For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces
[Al-Baqarah 2:148]
and said
To each of you We prescribed a law and a method
[Al-Ma'idah 5:48]
this necessitated that every people are exclusive to their direction and their law. That is because the letter 'lam' implies exclusivity. So if the Jews have a festival and the Christians have a festival, they are exclusive to it, so we do not share it with them, just as we do not share with them their qiblah and their law. Likewise, on this basis, we do not let them share our festival with us
Second, his saying
And this is our festival
For this implies restricting our festival to this, so we have no festival other than it. Likewise his saying
Narrated Aisha: That once Abu Bakr came to her on the day of `Id-ul-Fitr or `Id ul Adha while the Prophet (ﷺ) was with her and there were two girl singers with her, singing songs of the Ansar about the day of Buath. Abu Bakr said twice. "Musical instrument of Satan!" But the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Leave them Abu Bakr, for every nation has an `Id (i.e. festival) and this day is our `Id."
Sahih al-Bukhari 3931
For the definite article 'al' and the possessive suffix imply comprehensiveness, so it implies that the genus of our festival is restricted to the genus of that day, just as in his saying: 'Its prohibition is the takbir and its permission is the taslim.' His (peace and blessings be upon him) intention was not to restrict it to the specific instance of that festival, or the specific instance of that day, but rather to indicate the genus of what is prescribed, just as the jurists say: The chapter on the prayer of the festival, and the prayer of the festival is such and such, and it includes the prayers of the two festivals, and just as it is said: It is not permissible to fast on the day of the festival. Likewise his saying: 'And this day,' meaning the genus of this day, just as a person says when witnessing a prayer: This is the prayer of the Muslims, and it is said of the people going out to the open fields and what they do of takbir and prayer and the like: This is the festival of the Muslims, and the like of that
From this category is the hadith of 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said
The Day of Arafah, the Day of Nahr, and the Days of Tashriq are Eid for us. The people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking,
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 773Hasan (Darussalam)
They are days of eating and drinking.
Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i, and al-Tirmidhi reported it, and al-Tirmidhi said: It is a good, authentic hadith. It is evidence of our distinctness from others in the festival, and the specification of these five days, because the two festivals, the spatial and the temporal, converge in them, and their duration is long, and by this it is called the Great Festival. So when the attributes of festivity are complete in it, the ruling is restricted to it for its completeness, or because it is a count of days, and we have no festival that is days except these five. The second aspect "
