Reading from the author's words, with commentary and collation of manuscripts: "And let the wise man beware of obeying women in that

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And let the wise man beware of obeying women in that. In the two Sahihs, it is narrated from Usamah ibn Zayd"

The Shaykh : In that, no, not in everything. Obeying women is sometimes good; it can be good and a blessing. But in what is forbidden, do not obey her. Yes, good.
The reader: "In the two Sahihs, it is narrated from Usamah ibn Zayd that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
I have not left behind me a trial more injurious to men than women. ما تركت بعدي فتنة أضر على الرجال من النساء
Mishkat al-Masabih 3085
And most of what corrupts kingship and dynasties is the obedience of women. And in Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'He said"

The Shaykh : "I have not left behind any trial more harmful to men than women." The speech of the Messenger, may the prayers and blessings of Allah be upon him, is protected from error. The statement here is general, because "trial" (fitnah) is an indefinite noun in the context of negation, so it is comprehensive. It is the greatest of any trial, except for one trial, which is the trial of the Dajjal; that is the greatest trial, as established in the authentic hadiths. Then he said, "Most of what corrupts kingship and dynasties is the obedience of women." Now, there are people whose only concern is obeying women, and the women have the upper hand, and the men are forgotten. Yes, for example, in the case of women, they call them "ladies." Is this correct? Answer me.
The student: It is not correct.

The Shaykh : It is not correct. The "lord" (sayyid) is the man.
And they found her master by the door وألفيا سيدها لدى الباب
As for the woman, she is not a "lady." If we say that we give her this noble title, we give it to her relatively; we say she is a "lady" relative to a woman below her. But as a "lady" over men, no, she cannot aspire to that. Yes.
The reader: "And most of what corrupts kingship and dynasties is the obedience of women. And in Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'He (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A people will never succeed who give their leadership to a woman. لن يفلح قوم ولوا أمرهم امرأة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2262Sahih (Darussalam)
It is also narrated:
Men are ruined when they obey women هلكت الرجال حين أطاعت النساء
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 39:111
And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the Mothers of the Believers, when they questioned him about appointing Abu Bakr:
You are the companions of Yusuf إنكن صواحب يوسف
He meant that it is the nature of women to question the man of sense, as he said in another hadith:
I have not seen anyone with a deficiency in intellect and religion who is more likely to overpower the man of sense than one of you ما رأيت من ناقصات عقل ودين أغلب للب ذي اللب من إحداكن
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 49:107
And when Al-A'sha, the poet of Bahilah, recited to him his verses"

The Shaykh : and faith
The reader: "And when Al-A'sha, the poet of Bahilah, recited to him his verses in which he says" "And they are the worst of the prevailing for the one who is prevailed over" "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would repeat it and say" "And they are the worst of the prevailing for the one who is prevailed over" "And for that reason, Allah bestowed a favor upon Zakariyya (peace be upon him) when He said:
and amended for him his wife وأصلحنا له زوجه
[Al-Anbya 21:90]
And some scholars said: 'It is recommended for a man to strive with Allah to reform his wife for him.'"

The Shaykh : Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest.
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين
[Al-Furqan 25:74]

The reader: "Chapter: Prepare"

The Shaykh : The common proverbs say that women prevail over the noble, and the base prevail over women. Because the base man does not care about them, does not consult them, and humiliates them. The noble man is the opposite, so they prevail over him. But a person should not be like this or like that. Yes.
The reader: "Chapter: The festivals of the disbelievers are numerous and varied"

The Shaykh : The Shaykh of Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) speaks these words about women, and the man has not married. Glory be to Allah. This indicates that Allah the Exalted gave him a very great intellect. And perhaps he sometimes speaks about intercourse, meaning that it delights the soul, and it has such and such, and such and such, and he has not married. But when Allah Mighty and Majestic opens for His servant the doors of knowledge and intellect, he benefits greatly. O Allah, open for us, O Lord of the worlds. Yes.
