And it is not regarding the lifespans, nor regarding victory and triumph, and the like of that. And we say in the absolute sense that Allah erases what He wills and establishes, but the Book of the Preserved Tablet is the original with Him, and it does not change. Therefore, some scholars said that what is written in the Preserved Tablet does not change absolutely, and what is written in the scrolls in the hands of the angels is that in which erasure and establishment occur.
