What are the good deeds that erase bad deeds?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What are the good deeds that erase bad deeds?

Answer:
The greatest of good deeds is tawhid (the oneness of Allah), for Allah erases bad deeds by it. Repentance is a great, excellent good deed; sincere repentance erases the sin from which one repents... a specific sin is erased by sincere repentance.
And if he repents from all sins, they are erased by sincere repentance. All righteous deeds are among the causes of erasing bad deeds: his prayers, his zakah (the obligatory alms), his fasting, his Hajj (the major pilgrimage), his charity, and his dhikr (the remembrance of Allah), his remembrance of Allah. All of this is among the causes of erasing bad deeds.
Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeedsإِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ
[Hud:114] All acts of obedience are good deeds.
