Do some people seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast when they yawn?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. We see some people seeking refuge from Satan when they yawn. Is this prescribed?

The Shaykh : Yes, this is a good question. Some people, when they yawn, say, "I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast," and they cite the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah وإمّا ينزغنّك من الشّيطان نزغ فاستعذ بالله
[Al-A'raf 7:200]
But this is an analogy that contradicts the explicit text. The text is that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to suppress the yawn and did not say, "Seek refuge in Allah." The fact that it was not mentioned, despite the need to mention it, indicates that it is not prescribed. Therefore, the meaning of His saying
And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan وإمّا ينزغنّك من الشّيطان نزغ
[Al-A'raf 7:200]
is that it is a command to disobey or a prohibition of obedience. So, seek refuge in Allah. Likewise, regarding what saddens you: Satan strives to sadden those who believe. If you feel that, say, "I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast." Yes?

The questioner : ... Oh Shaykh, we mentioned...

The Shaykh : Who is speaking? The brother by the door, yes. Your question?

The questioner : Your Eminence, some people, after they yawn...

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : ... after they yawn, they say, "We seek refuge in Allah from the stings of the devils." Is this...

The Shaykh : No, it is not prescribed. If one yawns, let him suppress it. If he cannot, he should place his hand over his mouth. Yes, yes. The Messenger... yes... I don't know...

The questioner : If a group of people were present for iftar, for example, or for lunch, and prayer time arrived, is it permissible for him to...

The Shaykh : Is it?

The questioner : The host may stay behind, even if he has already eaten...

The Shaykh : Did a group of people come to break their fast with him?

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Very well.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Huh?

The questioner : He is not fasting.

The Shaykh : He is not fasting, and they are fasting, right?

The questioner : Does he stay behind from the congregation?
