What is the ruling on interrogating the jinn with the Qur'an?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: ... interrogating the jinn with the Qur'an ... some of those who perform ruqyah say: he interrogated the jinn, and they told him such and such, and they told him such and such. Is this possible?

The Shaykh : By Allah, my brother, I do not know about this. I always say ... just as I said that they interrogate them, and they always treat people through imagination. The reciter places his hand on the person's head and says, "Close your eyes ... I see such and such. Who do you suspect? I suspect so-and-so." We do not know. These are strange methods. These require study, meaning the conditions of these reciters require study and knowing how they arrive at this and where it came to them. Yes, that is right.
