Commentary on Tafsir al-Jalalayn: ((And when We bestow a blessing upon man)) the species ((he turns away)) from gratitude ((and is arrogant)) he bends his neck in pride

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And when We bestow favor upon the disbeliever, he turns away and distances himself وإذا أنعمنا على الإنسان أعرض ونئا بجانبه
[Al-Isra 17:83]
And when We bestow favor upon the إذا أنعمنا على الإنسان
[Al-Isra 17:83]
This means We gave Him a blessing, and the blessing revolves around two things: the attainment of what is desired and deliverance from what is feared. So if a person falls into the sea and then Allah arranges for him someone to save him from drowning, that is a blessing. Likewise, if Allah provides him with wealth and children, that is a blessing. So the blessing is either the removal of a calamity or the attainment of something beloved to man. And His saying:
upon man على الإنسان
The author says the intended meaning is "the species", meaning it is not the believer or the disbeliever, but this description is found in the believer and also in the disbeliever. You said just now: that there remain benefits for us: which verses?
