Ruling on Delaying the Zakah of Trade Goods for One Who Does Not Possess Cash

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: I have a shop for selling car parts, but I do not have cash to pay the zakah at the present time, because I have not sold anything; the goods are merely on display. Should I pay the zakah when I have the money, even if that is after Ramadan, or how should I handle this?

A: When you become financially able, pay the zakah after the completion of the lunar year. If the lunar year has passed and you do not have cash, pay it when you are able to do so. And success is from Allah.
