The Shaykh : He said: "From Jabir ibn Muta'im (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
A Bedouin came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: O Messenger of Allah جاء أعرابي إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله
Musnad Ahmad 655Da'if (Darussalam)
"
A single Bedouin man; the Bedouins are the inhabitants of the desert, and the predominant characteristic of the Bedouins is roughness, for they are the least likely, or most prone, to not know the limits of what Allah has revealed to His Messenger.
Narrated 'Aishah, wife of Prophet (ﷺ): A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) during Ramadan in the mosque. He said: Messenger of Allah, I am burnt. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked him what happened to him. He said: I had sexual intercourse with my wife. He said: Give sadaqah (alms). He said: I swear by Allah, I possess nothing with me, and I cannot do this. He said: Sit down. He sat down. While he was waiting, a man came forward driving his donkey loaded with food. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Where is the man who was burnt just now ? Thereupon the man stood up. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Give it as sadaqah (alms). He asked: Messenger of Allah, to others than us ? By Allah. we are hungry, we have nothing (to eat). He said: Eat it yourselves. فقال يا رسول الله نُهكت الأنفس
Sunan Abi Dawud 2394Sahih (Al-Albani)
meaning it was weakened. "and our families are hungry and our wealth has perished" From what? From the scarcity of rain and abundance. So the souls were weakened; the psychological and spiritual strength that a person possesses when there is abundance and spring was gone. "and our families are hungry" because livelihood had become scarce.
and our wealth has perished وهلكت الأموال
because they did not find what to graze on, what to graze.
so ask your Lord to send us rainفاستسق لنا ربك
Up to this point, the statement is correct. "Ask your Lord to send us rain" means ask Allah the Exalted to send us rain, and this is a right and there is no harm in it, because asking for supplication from one whose response is expected is among the means of having one's supplication answered.
And we seek intercession with Allah against you, and with you against Allah فإنا نستشفع بالله عليك وبك على الله
Now the error occurred.
We seek intercession with Allah on your behalf نستشفع بالله عليك
meaning make Him an intermediary between us and you so that you supplicate to Allah for us, and this implies that he placed Allah in a rank lower than the rank of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
and we seek intercession with you against Allah ونستشفع بك على الله
This is correct, meaning we ask you to be an intercessor for us with Allah, so you supplicate to Allah for us. Yes, there is no harm in this.
The narrator said:
Thereupon the Prophet said, "Glory be to God, glory be to God," فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: سبحان الله سبحان الله

Glory be سبحان
'Subhan' is a noun of action (ism mafsul) in the accusative case as an absolute object. We do not say... it is a noun of action because it is not a noun of action (masdar) but rather a description of a noun of action from 'subha' (to glorify). The noun of action is 'tasbihan'. When a word has the meaning of a noun of action but does not contain the letters of the noun of action, they call it a noun of action (ism mafsul). They call it a noun of action (ism mafsul), like 'kalam' (speech) is a noun of action (ism mafsul) for 'taklim' (speaking), and 'salam' (peace) is a noun of action (ism mafsul) for 'taslim' (greeting).
has caused you to grow from the earth a [progressive] growth. أنبتكم من الأرض نباتا
[Nuh 71:17]
as plants grow نَباتا
This is a noun of action (ism mafsul), even though if it had come from 'naba' (to grow) it would have been a noun of action (masdar). If it had come from 'naba' (to grow), 'yanbu' (grows), 'nabaatan' (growth), it would have been a noun of action (masdar). But when it came from 'anbata' (to cause to grow), 'yunbitu' (causes to grow), it became a noun of action (ism mafsul) because it did not contain the letter of the action. Here we say:
Glory be سبحان
it is in the accusative case as an absolute object, and it is obligatory to be in the accusative case; it does not come in the genitive case, nor in the nominative case. It is also obligatory to delete the operator, meaning it cannot come with the verb. You cannot say 'I glorified Allah, subhana' (glorification), except rarely or in poetry and the like. Otherwise, it is not combined with its verb. What is its meaning? They said that the meaning of tasbih (glorification) is to purify, to purify Allah the Exalted from what is not befitting Him, such as deficiency, defect, or likeness to the created, and the like. And what Allah is purified from is two things: one is deficiency and defect, and the second is likeness to the created. And if you wish, you can include
