Explanation of the author's statement and his saying: (But Allah raised Him to Himself) - (To Him ascends the good word, and righteous deeds He raises)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And Allah to Him, rather this is for the negating interjection to negate their saying:
Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah إنا قتلنا المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله
[An-Nisa 4:157]
And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them وما قتلوه وما صلبوه ولكن شُبه لهم
[An-Nisa 4:157]
And what comes after?
The student : And those who differed

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student : And those who differed

The Shaykh :
And those who differed in it are indeed in doubt about it, after what came to them وإن الذين اختلفوا فيه لفي شك منه من بعد ما جاءهم

The student : What is with them

The Shaykh : And those who
The student : And those who differed in it

The Shaykh :
And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. (158) Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise. اختلفوا فيه لفي شك منه ما لهم به من علم إلا اتباع الظن وما قتلوه يقيناً بل رفعه الله إليه وكان الله عزيزاً حكيماً
[An-Nisa 4:157-158]
The thing that made me hesitate is that my mind rushes to say something strange. When Arab nationalism first appeared, along with its drumming and piping, they said among other things that the Jews had killed the Messiah, 'Isa ibn Maryam. Look how, for what reason? They lied about the Qur'an to make people hate the Jews. And whoever claims that the Jews killed the Messiah, 'Isa ibn Maryam, is a disbeliever, because Allah says:
And they did not kill him, for certain. وما قتلوه يقيناً
[An-Nisa 4:157]
Then the churches revealed the innocence of the Jews from the killing
The student: 'Isa

The Shaykh : of 'Isa ibn Maryam. And after the appearance of this innocence, they became innocent of his killing after the appearance of this innocence. As for the saying of Allah:
And they did not kill him, for certain. وما قتلوه يقينا
[An-Nisa 4:157]
We ask Allah for safety. We say that the Jews did not kill Him, but they bore its sin, they bore its sin, because they believe that they killed Him and say so, and in fact they killed the man who was made to resemble Him. So we say: The Messiah (peace and blessings be upon him) was protected from them and they did not kill Him for certain, but the sin of their killing Him is written upon them and counted against them, because they say so and in fact they killed the man who was made to resemble Him.
Now, rather this is for the interjection, yes
The student : For negation

The Shaykh : Negation, yes, meaning rather, certainly they did not kill Him, and Allah raised Him to Himself. The proof is His saying:
Allah raised him to Himself رفعه الله إليه
[An-Nisa 4:158]
For it is explicit that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, is above
He said: "And his saying:
To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it إليه يصعد الكلم الطيب والعمل الصالح يرفعه
[Fatir 35:10]
"

to Him إليه
To whom?
The student: To Allah

The Shaykh : To Allah
ascends good speech يصعد الكلم الطيب
[Fatir 35:10]
The good word الكلِم
Here, the word is a collective noun, its singular is *kalimah* (word), and the plural of *kalimah* is *kalimat* (words), and *al-kalim* is a name that is pluralized. The good word includes every word by which one draws near to Allah: the Qur'an, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), knowledge, enjoining good, forbidding evil. Every word that draws one near to Allah is a good word that ascends to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and reaches Him. Righteous deeds, Allah raises them, Allah raises them. To whom?
The student: To Allah

The Shaykh : To Him as well, and righteous deeds, Allah raises them. So the words ascend and the deeds are raised. Yes, all of this indicates that Allah is above.
