Explaining the error in the path taken by the Tahrir Party to reach the Islamic state

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We were gathered about a month ago at the home of one of them. Do you know him? He is the first one I met when I came here, and we found some soundness in him. For example, he let his beard grow. The Tahrir Party is very few in number; I mean, if you see a person, it is like the base for me. If you see a person speaking about Islamic matters, you say he is a partisan as long as he is shaven, because of the scarcity of what? Those who emulate this Sunnah. So, after we got to know him here and he started attending some of our lessons, and after we mentioned, praise be to Allah, he passed away. His father did not pass away, nor did anyone else.
The student : A relative of his.

The Shaykh : A relative of his. So we were happy, meaning we offered our condolences, and naturally we spoke, what Allah willed, except about the Islamic state. I tell you, my brother, the bars, the open sinfulness, and the lewdness; this cannot be eradicated except by what? Except by the Muslim state. And by Allah, it is true, but what is the path to establishing the Muslim state? If we are... I like this word very much and mention it: "Establish the state of Islam in your hearts, and it will be established for you on your land." I tell them: If we do not establish the small state in our homes, where will we establish the big state? They take it with enthusiasm, like that, and so on. And I was sitting in a large room, a salon, and every now and then my eye was on a picture hanging on the wall of a woman in the French style, a wide dress, naked, naturally, and so on, hanging there. I said to him, "O so-and-so, if you want to establish the Muslim state, establish this picture... establish it." He said, "This is not mine, and I don't know what it is, I will turn it around." I said to him, "If you turn it around, someone else will turn it around. That is not how the Muslim state is established." So from the aspect of upbringing, they do not have... From here they differ. All the disagreement with the Muslim Brotherhood, they do not have, even explicitly here, regarding morals. They criticized Shawqi when he said, "Nations are indeed morals."
The student : They did not remain.

The Shaykh : "If their morals go, they go." They said this statement is not sound. It is strange, meaning, so Glorified is Allah. They are enthusiastic and have ideas, but as for seeking help from the disbelievers, they call it support and they interpret a hadith that occurred in the time of the Messenger of Allah regarding... the Islamic power, even though this is contrary to what? The rule established by the Messenger of Allah himself when he said:
We do not want any help from a polytheist. إنَّا لا نستعين بمشرك
Sunan Abi Dawud 2732
, so they reversed the rule and built their partisanship on what? Seeking support. And perhaps you know that in some stages of their call, they may have sought support from Iraq or wanted to seek it... from this, whatever it is.
The student : ... .

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Excuse me, Professor, what is the evidence they rely on for support?

The Shaykh : Some incidents occurred in the biography that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sought help from some polytheists.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes, but I am saying the Messenger... So I said, in the height of the strength and state and might of the Muslims, meaning even though he said:
We do not want any help from a polytheist. إنَّا لا نستعين بمشرك
Sunan Abi Dawud 2732
... A man from the polytheists came... and he said to him: ارجع ؛ إنَّا لا نستعين بمشرك Go back. Both the narrators (Musaddad and Yahya) then agreed. The Prophet said “We do not want any help from a polytheist.”Sunan Abi Dawud 2732, so they reversed the issue from two aspects. First, they did not notice the difference between their weakness today and the weakness of the Muslims in general, and the strength of the Muslim in that era. As for... the speech, meaning, is actually broad in this issue. In any case, we ask Allah to guide our Muslim brothers to what is good and right, and perhaps this amount is sufficient.
The student : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And to you.
The student : ... this happy opportunity.

The Shaykh : May Allah make you happy in this world and the Hereafter.
The student : And we ask Allah that the youth may benefit... .

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you.
The student : And that He may bless your life and benefit through you.

The Shaykh : May Allah preserve you, and we thank you for allowing us to clarify some truths that many people are unaware of.
