Explanation of the words of Ibn Malik (may Allah have mercy on him): "And fath and kasr are sufficient in the sin of *** like 'asaytu and the fath was chosen, zakun."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said: "And fath and kasr are sufficient in the sin of *** like 'asaytu and the fath was chosen, zakun"
Fath: An object placed before the verb "ajaza" (to be sufficient).
And kasr: Conjoined to it.
And ajaza: A verb of command built on sukun, and the doer is hidden by necessity, its estimation being "you," and the doer is hidden by necessity, its estimation being "you."
And fi al-sin: A preposition and its object, connected to "ajaza."
Min nahwi 'asaytu: Meaning from "asa" when it is attributed to a pronoun, to the pronoun of the taa, because he said "from the like of 'asaytu."
And "the fath was chosen, zakun": We say that "nahw" is a noun with a genitive, and "'asaytu" is the genitive to it in terms of the word, and "intaqaa" is a subject raised with a dammah on the alif or on the deleted hamza due to the necessity of the meter, and it is attributed to "al-fath."
And "zakun": A verb and a substitute for the doer, and it is the predicate of the subject which is "intaqaa."
And the summary of the verse: That it is permissible in "asa" when it is attached to the taa of the doer, it is permissible to have kasr on the sin and fath on the sin, and which of the two is more correct?
The student: The fath.

The Shaykh : The fath. Allah the Exalted said:
So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your [ties of] relationship? فهل عسيتم إن توليتم أن تفسدوا في الأرض وتقطعوا أرحامكم
[Muhammad 47:22]
And you say, "I 'asaytu that I stand," 'asaytu, and it is permissible to say "I 'asaytu that I stand." So in the sin of "asa" when it is attached to the taa of the doer, there are two positions: kasr and fath, and the kasr is yes, but the fath is more appropriate because he said: "the fath was chosen, zakun" Allah knows best.
The student: What about the review?

The Shaykh : Yes, the review is tomorrow, if Allah wills.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : The verbs of approximation, the entire chapter.
The student: O Shaykh, is the review not in every chapter? We said this is the entire chapter, every section.

The Shaykh : Khalid
The reader: "Inna and its sisters
In, An, Layt, Lakin, La'alla *** Ka'anna is the opposite of what La-kaana was of action.
Like: In Zaydun 'alimun bi-anni *** Kaf'un wa lakin ibnuhu dhu dighn.
And observe this order except in the one *** where Layt is in it, or here is other than al-Badhi
And the hamza of Inna, open it to fill the place of *** the masdar, and in other than that, break it"

The Shaykh : But.
