Reading the words of Ibn Malik (may Allah have mercy on him): "… The locative, which is called a *zarf* (adverbial of time or place)."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
The object in which the action takes place, which is called a circumstantial phrase
"A *zarf* is a time or a place, implied *** in a consistent manner"

The Shaykh :"in a consistent manner"
The reader: "… *** in a consistent manner, like 'here' or 'I stayed for a period'
So make it accusative with the verb that occurs in it, if explicit *** or if not, then make it implied
And every time is capable of that, and what *** a place accepts is only if it is indefinite
Like directions and measures, and what *** is derived from a verb, like *marmā* (a place to throw) from *ramā* (to throw)"

The Shaykh :"like *marmā*".
The reader: "… *** like *marmā* from *ramā*
And the condition for this to be considered a measure is that it *** occurs as a *zarf* for what is in its original form with it"
.

The Shaykh : Yes.
