The Manner of Sa'y

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the manner of sa'y, from where does the one performing sa'y begin, and what is the number of its circuits?

Answer: It begins from al-Safa and concludes at al-Marwah, and the number is seven circuits, the first of which begins at al-Safa and the last of which ends at al-Marwah. One mentions Allah therein, glorifies Him, and supplicates, and repeats the supplication and takbir at al-Safa and al-Marwah three times, raising his hands and facing the qiblah; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did so.
