The ruling on one who did not intend to sacrifice until the fifteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: A woman of means was preoccupied and did not intend to sacrifice until the fifteenth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, so she slaughtered a sacrificial animal. Does it count as a sacrifice or not?

Answer: The animal mentioned does not count as a sacrifice; because the time for sacrifices ended with the setting of the sun on the thirteenth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah. However, it is considered voluntary charity. She may eat from it, give it in charity to the poor, and send some of it to any neighbors or relatives she wishes. And success is from Allah.
