Answer: It is obligatory for one who intends to sacrifice for himself, or for his parents, or for someone else voluntarily, not to take anything from his hair, or his nails, or his skin when the month of Dhul-Hijjah enters until he sacrifices.
As for the agent, there is no blame on him if he takes from his hair, or his skin, or his nails; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):. It was narrated by Muslim in the Sahih.
