Ruling on working in banks to pay off a debt

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: To the honorable Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Abdullah ibn Baz (may Allah preserve him)
Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, and after that:
I inform you that I have a son named: A. A. M., and that he is in debt of about one hundred thousand riyals for a marriage and a car he drives, and that he entered the National Bank to work as a correspondent with a salary of about one thousand five hundred riyals. Some people say: his salary is forbidden, and others say: it is lawful. Allah knows that he entered this bank out of the necessity of his debt and his family's expenses. Therefore, we request a ruling urgently. May Allah preserve you.

Answer: And upon you be peace, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, and after that:
It is not permissible to work in interest-based banks; such as the National Bank mentioned. It is obligatory for your son mentioned to leave the work mentioned, and seek work in other sound places, may Allah make his affairs easy, and rectify his condition and the condition of every Muslim.
