Answer: It is obligatory to be just between them in travel by mutual agreement or by drawing lots. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he intended to travel, would draw lots among his wives and travel with the one who was chosen by the lot.
It is obligatory to follow his example (peace and blessings be upon him) in this matter; for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said: : [Al-Ahzab: 21]. And because traveling with one of his wives without mutual agreement or drawing lots is injustice to the one left behind or those left behind, and Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) has forbidden injustice for His servants and commanded justice.
