The postpartum woman completes Hajj if she becomes pure before the forty days

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: If a woman begins her postpartum bleeding on the Day of Tarwiyah and completes the pillars of Hajj other than the circumambulation and the sa'y, but she notices that she has become pure initially after ten days, should she purify herself, take a bath, and perform the remaining pillar, which is the circumambulation of Hajj?

Answer: Yes, if she gives birth on the eighth day, for example, she may perform Hajj and stand with the people at 'Arafah and Muzdalifah. She may do what the people do, such as stoning the pillars, shortening the hair, slaughtering the sacrificial animal, and so on. The circumambulation and sa'y remain for her, and she postpones them until she becomes pure. If she becomes pure after ten days, or more, or less, she takes a bath, prays, fasts, performs the circumambulation, and the sa'y. There is no fixed limit for the minimum duration of postpartum bleeding; she may become pure in ten days, or less, or more, but its limit is forty days.
If the forty days are completed and the blood has not stopped, she considers herself in the ruling of those who are pure: she takes a bath, prays, and fasts. The blood that remains with her is, according to the correct opinion, blood of corruption; she prays with it and fasts, and she is lawful to her husband. However, she should make an effort to protect herself from it with cotton or the like, and she should perform the ablution for the time of every prayer. There is no harm in combining the midday and afternoon prayers, and the sunset and night prayers, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised Himmah bint Jahsh to do so.
