The child of zina is attributed to his mother

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: A Muslim man wishes to marry a Christian woman. He has had marital relations with her without a marriage contract, and she is now pregnant. What is the obligatory course of action, with details? May Allah reward you with good, as these cases occur frequently in foreign lands, and there is no power nor strength except with Allah.

Answer: If they have both repented to Allah the Exalted, there is no harm in his marrying her after she gives birth. The child is attributed to his mother and not to him, because he is a child of zina, not born of a valid marriage. However, if they have not both repented, he is not permitted to marry her. We ask Allah to grant them sincere repentance and to guide the Christian woman to Islam. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the Near.
