Among the doubts raised to justify the prohibition of zina is the mixing of lineages

The second question of fatwa number ( 2758 )
Q2: There is a verse in the Noble Qur'an that mentions that zina is forbidden, and it is one of the major sins. Zina was prohibited to prevent the mixing of lineages. However, those who object to the Islamic religion today say: The reason has been addressed by using contraceptive pills, and there is no objection to zina as long as the reason has been removed. What is your response to that?
A 2: Zina is forbidden by the Book, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Muslims, whether one recognizes the reason for its prohibition, which is preserving lineages and protecting the honor of women and their guardians from being harmed, or not. The principle in matters of the Shari'ah is to accept them whether the reason is known or not. There are many rulings, some of which may be hidden from some people. Preserving lineages is not the only reason. Even if we assume it is the only reason, it is not permissible to engage in zina out of safety from pregnancy; because what Allah has forbidden permanently is not permissible for a Muslim to do, whether the reason he believes exists or not; because Allah, the Exalted, is Wise and Knowing in what He legislates for His servants and in what He decrees and determines. If zina were permissible in some cases, He, the Exalted, would have made that clear, and your Lord is not forgetful.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
