Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings:
I hope that this message reaches you while you are in the best condition that pleases Allah. I also hope that your answer to this question, Your Eminence, will be personal and sealed with your seal, given its utmost importance to us.
The question is: Is it permissible to lease a building, or part of it, to the Arab National Bank? May Allah reward you, and may He reward you with good.
Answer: And upon you be peace, and Allah's mercy and blessings.
It is not permissible to lease to the Arab National Bank or any other bank that deals in usury or interest (riba); for this involves cooperation in sin and aggression, and Allah the Exalted has forbidden that in His saying: : [Al-Ma'idah: 2]. May Allah guide everyone to what pleases Him. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
