Taking the wife's salary with her consent
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: If I marry a schoolteacher, is it permissible to take her salary with her consent, for the sake of need and for the benefit of both of us, such as building a house, without giving her a receipt for what I take, and she has not asked for this, knowing that I am an employee and receive a monthly salary?
Answer: There is no blame on you in taking your wife's salary with her consent if she is of sound mind, and likewise for anything she gives you by way of assistance, there is no blame on you in accepting it if she is pleased with it and is of sound mind; for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said in the beginning of Surat al-Nisa: [al-Nisa:4]. Even if that is done without a receipt, but if she gives you a receipt for it, that is more cautious, if you fear something from her family or relatives, or if you fear she might change her mind. And success is from Allah.

But if they give up willingly to you anything of it, then take it in satisfaction and ease.
