Is the true vision specific to the believer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the vision specific to the believer? I mean, does only the believer see this vision and have his vision come true, or do both the disbeliever and the believer?

Answer:
This is a matter for consideration. A disbeliever may see a vision and it may come true. What prevents that?
Q: Like the companion of Yusuf (Joseph) who was in prison?
The Shaykh: The point is that this indicates that the most truthful people in this world in their speech are the most truthful in their visions, meaning they are the closest. Even if one is not a believer, there is no barrier to a disbeliever or a sinner seeing a vision; because visions occur from disbelievers and from wrongdoers. However, the most truthful people in their visions are the most truthful in their speech in this world.
Q: Most truthful in their speech, does this mean in all righteous deeds?
The Shaykh: I mean: whoever is more truthful in this world is closer to the truth of his vision, especially if he sleeps in a state of ritual purity. The people closest to truth in visions are the closest to truth in life and the most upright in life.
Q: Al-Nawawi mentioned in his book Al-Adhkar that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), when she was brought to her bed, would ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to show her a true vision?
The Shaykh: I do not know.
Q: Is it prescribed for the believer...?
The Shaykh: Allah knows best.
