The reader: The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "The Chapter on Patience:
Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, persevere and يا أيها الذين آمنوا اصبروا وصابروا
[Ali 'Imran 3:200]
, and He said:
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, ولنبلونكم بشيء مِن الخوف والجوع ونقص مِن الأموال والأنفس والثمرات وبشر الصابرين
[Al-Baqarah 2:155]
, and He said:
Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account." إنما يوفى الصابرون أجرَهم بغير حساب
[Az-Zumar 39:10]
, and He said:
And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination. ولَمن صبر وغَفَر إن ذلك لمن عزم الأمور
[Ash-Shuraa 42:43]
, and He said:
seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. استعينوا بالصبر والصلاة إنَّ الله مع الصابرين
[Al-Baqarah 2:153]
