Continuation of the explanation of the statement of Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding what he quoted: "."

The Shaykh : As for patience, he said: It is light (dhiya'), containing light, but light accompanied by heat, as Allah the Exalted said: [Yunus 10:5] Therefore, light must necessarily contain heat. Likewise, patience must necessarily contain heat and fatigue, because it involves great hardship. For this reason, its reward is without limit. The difference between the light (nur) in prayer and the light (dhiya') in patience is that the light in patience is accompanied by heat due to the mental and physical fatigue it sometimes entails. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: : Charity means giving wealth to draw near to Allah the Mighty and Majestic, for one's family, the poor, and public interests such as building mosques and the like. This is proof. Proof of what? Proof of the servant's faith. This is because wealth is beloved to souls, and souls are stingy with it. So when a person gives it for the sake of Allah, a person does not give what he loves except for what is more beloved to him than it. Thus, giving wealth for the sake of Allah the Mighty and Majestic is evidence of the truth and soundness of faith. For this reason, you will find that the people who are most faithful to Allah the Mighty and Majestic and most truthful in their faith are the ones who give the most charity. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan an-Nasa'i 2437Sahih (Darussalam) : Because the Qur'an is the strong rope of Allah, and it is the argument of Allah against His creation. It is either for you, in which case you have reached Allah through it and fulfilled the obligation of this great Qur'an by believing in its reports, obeying its commands, avoiding its prohibitions, and honoring and respecting this noble Qur'an. In this case, it is an argument for you. But if the matter is the opposite, and you have belittled the Qur'an and abandoned it in word, meaning, and action, and have not fulfilled its obligation, then it will be a witness against you on the Day of Resurrection. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not mention a rank between these two ranks, meaning he did not mention that the Qur'an is neither for you nor against you, because it must necessarily be either for you or against you in all cases. So we ask Allah to make it an argument for us and for you, by which we will be guided in this world and the Hereafter. Indeed, He is Generous and Noble.
The discussion of this hadith has preceded, except for its last sentence, which is his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):Sunan Ibn Majah 280Sahih (Darussalam) His saying (peace and blessings be upon him): This is an observed reality, for Allah the Exalted and Majestic made the night a rest, and He said: [Al-An'am 6:60] So this sleep that occurs at night is a minor death, in which the nerves calm down, the body rests and renews its energy for the upcoming work, and it rests from the past work. When morning comes, which is the early morning, people move and each heads to his work. Some head toward good, and they are the Muslims, and some head toward evil, and they are the disbelievers, refuge with Allah. The Muslim, first of all when he goes out, performs ablution and purifies himself, as in this hadith. Then he goes and prays, beginning his day with the worship of Allah the Mighty and Majestic, through purity, cleanliness, and prayer, which is the connection between the servant and his Lord. He opens his day with this righteous deed. Indeed, he opens it with tawhid (the oneness of Allah), because it is prescribed for a person when he wakes up from his sleep to remember Allah the Mighty and Majestic, and to read ten verses from the end of Surat al-Imran: [Ali 'Imran 3:190] to the end of the surah. This is the Muslim. This is the one who truly goes out in the morning as one who sells his soul. But did he sell it in a sale that frees it? We say: Yes, the Muslim sold it in a sale that frees it. For this reason he said: This is one category. means: Its meaning is one who sells his soul and destroys it. The disbeliever goes out to work that leads to destruction, because the meaning of "destroying it" is "destroying it." This is because the disbeliever begins his day with disobedience to Allah. Even if he begins with eating and drinking, he will be punished for his eating and drinking on the Day of Resurrection; he will be held accountable for it. Every mouthful the disbeliever puts in his mouth, he will be punished for it. Every mouthful of water he swallows, he will be punished for it. And every garment he wears, he will be punished for it. The evidence for this is the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Al-A'raf 7:32] for those who believe, not for others. [Al-A'raf 7:32] means that nothing of its impurities is upon them on the Day of Resurrection. So the implication of the noble verse: [Al-A'raf 7:32] And Allah the Exalted said in Surat al-Ma'idah, which is among the last things revealed, and the verse I quoted now is in Surat al-An'am, which is Meccan. Al-Ma'idah is Medinan and is among the last things revealed. He said: [Al-Ma'idah 5:93] So the implication of the noble verse is that there is a burden upon those who do not believe for what they have eaten. So the disbeliever, from the moment he wakes up, refuge with Allah, is selling his soul in what destroys it. As for the believer, he is selling his soul in what frees it and saves it from the Fire. We ask Allah to make us and you among them.
At the end of this hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) explained that people are divided into two categories: a category for whom the Qur'an is an argument for them, as he said:, and a category for whom the Qur'an is an argument against them, as he said: . And a category that frees their souls with their righteous deeds, and a category that destroys them with their evil deeds. And Allah is the One who grants success.
It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light
