And from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): Narrated by al-Bukhari ".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
These hadiths were mentioned by al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) in the chapter on gentleness, forbearance, and deliberation in the book *Riyad al-Salihin*. We have previously discussed his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):Sahih al-Bukhari 69.
Then the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned a hadith containing the command for gentleness and the exhortation to it, where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Abi Dawud 4809Sahih (Al-Albani) So if a person acts with violence and harshness, he is deprived of the good in what he did. This is a tested and observed reality: that if a person begins to deal with violence and harshness, he is deprived of good and does not hope for good. But if he deals with gentleness, forbearance, deliberation, and a broad chest, he attains much good. Therefore, the person who wants good should always be gentle so that he attains good. As for the hadith of Abu Hurayrah, it is that a man said: : The meaning is: do not be quick to anger, where everything provokes you, but be calm and deliberate, because anger is an ember that Satan throws into the heart of a person until the heart boils. For this reason, the neck veins, the blood vessels, swell and the eyes redden. Then the person becomes agitated until he does something he regrets. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) advised this man not to become angry, without advising him to fear Allah, or to pray, or to fast, or the like of that, because the condition of this man required that. For this reason, he advised others with something else. He advised Abu Hurayrah to fast three days of every month, and to pray witr before he sleeps, and he advised Abu al-Darda with the like of that. But for this one, he advised him not to become angry. He advised him not to become angry, because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knew from his condition that he was quick to anger, much given to anger. Therefore he said: .
Anger drives a person to say a word of disbelief, to divorce his wife, to strike his mother, to be undutiful to his father, as is observed and known. Then you find that the person, from the moment he rushes, cools down and then regrets it with great regret. How many are those who ask: I became angry with my wife and divorced her. I became angry with her and divorced her with three divorces. I became angry with so-and-so and forbade him, and the like of that. So you do not become angry, do not become angry, for anger undoubtedly affects a person until he acts like the insane. For this reason, some scholars said: " If a person becomes angry with intense anger such that he does not know what he is saying, then his words have no consideration and no effect. If it is a divorce, his wife is not divorced. If it is a supplication, it is not answered, because he speaks without reason and without conception ". We ask Allah for you and for us well-being and safety.
The reader: The author (may Allah have mercy on him) quoted, in the context of the hadiths in the chapter on forbearance, deliberation, and gentleness: " From Shaddad ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1409Sahih (Darussalam) Narrated by Muslim.
And from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said:Sahih al-Bukhari 6126 Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2488Hasan (Darussalam) Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, who said: A good hadith ".
He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of good.
مَن يحرم الرفق يحرم الخير كلهAnd from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him):
That a man said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Advise me. He said: Do not become angry. He repeated this several times, and he said: Do not become angry

Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam).

إن الله كتب الإحسان على كل شيء، فإذا قتلتم فأحسنوا القِتلة، وإذا ذبحتم فأحسنوا الذِبحة، وليُحدَّ أحدكم شفرته وليرح ذبيحتهAnd from 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), who said:
Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was given the choice of one of two matters he would choose the easier of the two as long as it was not sinful to do so, but if it was sinful, he would not approach it. Allah's Apostle never took revenge over anybody for his own sake but (he did) only when Allah's legal bindings were outraged, in which case he would take revenge for Allah's sake.
And from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
