Continuation of the explanation of the statement of Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding what he quoted: "."

The Shaykh : We have previously spoken about most of this hadith until we reached the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih al-Bukhari 3701 So he (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded him with two things: The first command is the call to Islam, by saying to them: “Submit to Islam.” If they know the meaning of Islam, it is sufficient if he says “Submit.” But if they do not know it, he must explain to them that Islam is the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing the prayer, giving zakah, fasting Ramadan, and performing Hajj to the House.
The second command: He said:Sahih al-Bukhari 3701 which is obedience and compliance with the commands of Allah and His Messenger, so that the one who enters Islam enters with clear understanding. This is because some people enter Islam as a religion but do not know what it is. Then, when the laws are explained to them, they apostatize, may Allah protect us from that. Thus, their second disbelief becomes greater than their first disbelief, because apostasy is not accepted from its owner; rather, it is said to him: Either you return to what you left, or we will kill you. Therefore, it is necessary for us in this era, when there are many disbelievers among us, such as Christians, Buddhists, polytheists, and others, when we call them to Islam, to explain Islam to them first. We should explain it in a way that clarifies the matter so that they enter with clear understanding. We should not leave them with just “Submit, submit,” because they do not know what is obligatory upon them of the right of Allah the Exalted in Islam. If they enter with clear understanding, we will have an excuse afterwards if they apostatize to demand their return to Islam or to kill them. As for explaining it to them in a general way like this, it is a deficient call. The evidence for this is the hadith of Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) which we are now explaining. In this hadith, in his saying: This is because red camels were among the most precious of wealth for the Arabs, if not the most precious of all wealth. So he (may Allah be pleased with him) did so and descended upon their camp and called them to Islam, but they did not submit. Then, in the end, the victory was for the Muslims, praise be to Allah, and Allah opened [victory] through the hands of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib. The story is famous in the books of military expeditions and biographies. But the point of this hadith is that he commanded them to call them to Islam and to inform them of what is obligatory upon them of the right of Allah in it. And among the benefits of this hadith are:
The manifestation of a sign from the signs of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which is that when he spat in the eyes of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, he was cured until it was as if he had no pain. And in it is also another sign, which is his saying:Sahih al-Bukhari 2942 which is a report of the unseen, and yet Allah opened [victory] through his hands. And among the benefits of it is: that it is prescribed to set up banners in jihad, which are the flags, and that a specific banner be made for each group so they are known by it, as previously indicated. And among the benefits of it is: that a person should seek good and strive to be first to it, because the Companions spent that night searching, meaning they were searching during the night. It is in the state of adverbiality, meaning they were looking for who it would be. And among the benefits of it is: that a person may be given something without it occurring to him, and that one who was expected to receive it may be deprived of it. Because 'Ali ibn Abi Talib was sick in his eyes, and I do not think it occurred to him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would give him the banner, and yet he attained it. And the favor of Allah the Exalted is given to whom He wills. And Allah grants success.
and then invite them to Islam and inform them of their duties towards Allah which Islam prescribes for them
ثم ادعهم إلى الإسلام وأخبرهم بما يجب عليهم من حق الله فيهThe second command: He said:
and inform them of their duties towards Allah which Islam prescribes for them
وأخبرهم بما يجب عليهم من حق الله تعالى فيهBy Allah, if Allah guides one man through you, it is better for you than red camels
فوالله لأن يهدي الله بك رجلًا واحد خير لك من حمر النعمThe manifestation of a sign from the signs of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which is that when he spat in the eyes of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, he was cured until it was as if he had no pain. And in it is also another sign, which is his saying:
