Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) quoted: "From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Many a person with disheveled hair and covered with dust is turned away from the doors (whereas he is held in such a high esteem by Allah) that if he were to adjure in the name of Allah (about anything) Allah would fulfil that. رُب أشعث أغبر مدفوع بالأبواب لو أقسم على الله لأبره

, Muslim narrated it.
And from Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that the majority of the people who entered it were the poor, while the wealthy were stopped at the gate (for the accounts). But the companions of the Fire were ordered to be taken to the Fire. Then I stood at the gate of the Fire and saw that the majority of those who entered it were women. قُمت على باب الجنة فإذا عامة من دخلها المساكين ، وأصحاب الجد محبوسون ، غير أن أصحاب النار قد أُمر بهم إلى النار ، وقُمت على باب النار فإذا عامة من دخلها النساء
