What is the ruling on a person entrusted with a trust if it is lost or destroyed in his possession?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If a man gives his companion a sheep or a camel to benefit from its milk, and then returns it, but it perishes in his possession, what is its ruling?

Answer:
This is a gift. If it perishes, it is the responsibility of its owner, provided that the person in whose possession it was did not transgress against it or neglect it, just like trusts. They are the responsibility of their owner, and the person in whose possession they were owes nothing.
