The Ruling on One Who Repeats Divorce Three Times and Then Hesitates About His Intention

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: From 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Baz, to the honorable brother, the virtuous Shaykh, the Judge of Dhahrān al-Janūb, may Allah guide him to all good, amen.
Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. After that:
O Beloved: Your noble letter, number 996, dated 13/8/1393 AH, which is a response to my letter, number 1202, dated 5/6/1393 AH, has arrived, may Allah guide you. The information it contained regarding the husband, M. 'A., hesitating to clarify his intention when he said to his wife: "You are divorced. You are divorced. You are divorced," was known.
Answer: And based on that: He has no right to return to her until she marries another husband, as I clarified in the aforementioned letter.
So I hope you will inform everyone of this. May Allah reward you, and thank you for your efforts.
And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
