Less than five breastfeedings does not prohibit marriage

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: Your Eminence, Shaykh Ibn Baz (may Allah preserve him).
I have the following question: I wish to marry my maternal uncle’s daughter, but my mother breastfed her once along with my sister, who was born after me. Is this permissible or not? Please guide us, may Allah reward you with good.

Answer: Your Eminence, the Judge of the Southern Dhahrán Court (may Allah keep him safe).
Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. After that:
Dear Brother: I have instructed the aforementioned questioner (Q) to bring his mother and anyone who knows her to you, in order to verify from her the number of times she breastfed the aforementioned girl. If it was less than five breastfeedings, it is not hidden from your Eminence that it is not prohibited for him to marry the aforementioned girl.
And if there is actually a difficulty, I have no objection to looking into it—after it is established and the woman’s integrity is known—so I ask your Eminence to seek reward in carrying out what is necessary. May Allah reward you, and peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
Your brother
Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz ibn Baz
