Question:
The questioner asks about an article published in one of the newspapers, saying: The writer states: It is absurd to claim that six billion people, spread across the surface of the earth, will have their fate be the Fire, simply by virtue of a fatwa that is not based on truth and justice. He says: The followers of all the heavenly religions, except for those who have distorted the Book of Allah, will go to Paradise if they do good deeds, in fulfillment of the saying of the Exalted: [Al-Ma'idah: 69], and so on. What is your guidance?
Answer:
There is no doubt that whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day from all the nations and follows the messengers, there is no doubt that he is destined for Paradise. [Al-Ma'idah: 69]. So whoever believes in Allah and His messengers, from this Ummah, from the Children of Israel among the Jews and the Christians, and from others, from all the nations, they are all destined for Paradise. Whoever follows the messengers, from the first to the last, is destined for Paradise. And whoever disobeys them and contradicts them is destined for the Fire. And there is no doubt that the majority of creation are destined for the Fire, and the minority of them are destined for Paradise, as the Exalted and Majestic said: [Yusuf: 103]. And the Exalted and Majestic said: [Al-An'am: 116]. And the Exalted said: [Saba: 20].
But at the end of time, when Allah raises the Qur'an at the end of time and sends the wind that takes the souls of the believing men and believing women, only the wicked will remain. Upon them the Hour will be established, and they are among the people of the Fire, because they remained upon shirk (associating partners with Allah) and worshipping other than Him. Upon them the Hour will be established. We ask Allah for safety.Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 48:247, we ask Allah for well-being.
As for the statement that all the people of the earth are in the Fire, this is batil (invalid), it is invalid speech. Rather, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day is among the people of Paradise. And only he who disbelieves in Allah and contradicts His command becomes among the people of the Fire. But at the end of time, after the raising of the Noble Book and after the death of the believing men and believing women, the wicked remain. Upon them the Hour will be established. We ask Allah for safety. And they are among the people of the Fire.

Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

The Hour will not be established until it is not said on the earth: There is no god but Allah.
