Explaining the virtue of one who stands with the imam until he completes the tarawih prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The brother I. A. H. from Sharjah says in his question: I observe the worshippers in the tarawih prayer divided into groups: a group leaves before the witr and the odd-numbered prayer, a group leaves before the witr, a group (when there are two imams praying in congregation) leaves after the first imam finishes, and a group, when the imam says the closing salam of the witr, stands up and performs a rak'ah to make the witr even. We ask your eminence to provide detailed information on this matter, and when does a person stand with his imam such that he obtains the reward mentioned in the hadith? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Everything the questioner mentioned is permissible, and the matter is broad in this regard, and praise be to Allah. However, the one who remains with the imam until he completes the prayer attains the superior status and becomes like one who stood for the entire night; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever prays Qiyam with the Imam until he finishes, Allah (SWT) will record for him the Qiyam of a (whole) night.من قام مع الإمام حتى ينصرف، كتب الله له قيام ليلة...

. And success is from Allah.
