Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) transmitted, in the context of the hadiths in the chapter on the virtue of the adhan: "From Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Ibn Majah 720Sahih (Darussalam) Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim.
And from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih al-Bukhari 614 Narrated by al-Bukhari.
And from Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sahih Muslim 386 Narrated by Muslim.
And from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 212Sahih (Darussalam) Narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said: It is a good hadith".
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
These are the hadiths of the remainder of the chapter on the virtue of the adhan, which al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) listed in *Riyad al-Salihin*:
Among them is the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):Sunan Abi Dawud 522Sahih (Al-Albani), and among them: Sahih al-Bukhari 614, and among them: Sunan Abi Dawud 525Sahih (Al-Albani), and among them: Bulugh al-Maram 16:116:
As for the first hadith, the discussion of it has already preceded; it is recommended for a person, when he hears the call, to say what the mu'adhdhin says, except if the mu'adhdhin says: "Hasten to prayer, hasten to success," then he should say: "There is no power and no strength except with Allah."
And as for the second hadith:Sahih al-Bukhari 614: meaning, and when the mu'adhdhin has finished, as indicated by the previous hadith, when the mu'adhdhin has finished, you pray upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), then you say: Sahih al-Bukhari 4719: Sahih al-Bukhari 4719: It is the call to prayer and to success, because that is among the most perfect of calls.
: meaning the prayer that will be established, for the call is an announcement of the entry of the time of prayer. Sahih al-Bukhari 4719: meaning grant him the intercession, which is a rank in Paradise, the highest of the ranks of Paradise, and it is for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
And the excellence: meaning the distinction and the high rank above others, (peace and blessings be upon him), and he has attained that.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4719: And Allah has promised him that in His saying: [Al-Isra 17:79]: And from this praiseworthy station is the great intercession, for the people on the Day of Resurrection will be afflicted with distress and sorrow that they cannot bear in that great standing, which is fifty thousand years in length, on a single plain where the caller is heard and the sight reaches them, their bodies naked, their feet bare, their eyes staring, they have no power to benefit or harm themselves, ['Abasa 80:34-36]: The sun will be close to them, a mile away, and there is no slope, no shade, no building, and nothing else, so they seek someone to intercede for them with Allah, so they come to Adam, then Noah, then Abraham, then Moses, then Jesus, until it reaches the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), so he stands and intercedes, in this station the first and the last praise him, because all the people are in this station, so when the great noble prophets Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Noah, and Adam, the father of mankind, are unable to do so, then this noble Prophet stands and intercedes with Allah, here the first and the last praise him, and this is from the praiseworthy station which Allah (Mighty and Majestic) promised.
Then, this hadith was narrated by al-Bukhari up to the phrase:, but the addition: Muwatta Malik 20:132 has been authenticated, so a person should say it because it is authentic and because this is the supplication of the believers, [Ali 'Imran 3:194]: So He (Exalted and Majestic is He) does not break the promise, due to the perfection of His truthfulness and the perfection of His power, (Exalted and Majestic is He), and breaking the promise is either due to lying by the one who promised, or due to his inability, and Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) is the truest of speakers and the most capable of the capable, so He (Glorified and Exalted is He) promised His Prophet in His saying: [Al-Isra 17:79]: And He (Exalted and Majestic is He) is truthful in the promise and capable of fulfilling it.
As for the one who says when he hears the call:Sunan Abi Dawud 974Sahih (Al-Albani)
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) transmitted, in the context of the hadiths in the chapter on the virtue of the adhan: "From Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

إذا سمعتم النداء فقولوا كما يقول المؤذنAnd from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

Lord of this perfect call (perfect by not ascribing partners to You) and of the regular prayer which is going to be established, give Muhammad the right of intercession and illustriousness, and resurrect him to the best and the highest place in Paradise that You promised him (of)], then my intercession for him will be allowed on the Day of Resurrection
من قال حين يسمع النداء : اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة والصلاة القائمة، آت محمدًا الوسيلة والفضيلة، وابعثه مقاما محمودا الذي وعدته، حلت له شفاعتي يوم القيامةAnd from Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
If anyone says on hearing the Mu'adhdhin: I testify that there is no god but Allah alone. Who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, (and that) I am satisfied with Allah as my Lord, with Muhammad as Messenger. and with Islam as din (code of life), his sins would be forgiven.
And from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The supplication made between the Adhan and Iqamah is not rejected.
