All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Chapter on matters of supplication, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 654 It is agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim, and in a narration by Muslim: Sahih Muslim 2735c”.

This hadith is in the chapter on the etiquettes of supplication, from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3387Sahih (Darussalam) This means that a person is likely to have his supplication answered by Allah unless he hastens. The meaning of hastening was explained by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) as saying: At that point, he becomes discouraged and gives up supplication. This is due to the ignorance of the person, for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) does not withhold from you what you have supplicated for except for a wisdom or because of an obstacle that prevents the obligation of answering the supplication. However, when you supplicate to Allah, supplicate to Allah the Exalted while you are giving hope precedence over despair until Allah fulfills for you what you desire. Then, if Allah gives you what you asked for, that is your goal. If He does not give you what you asked for, He averts from you a greater affliction, and you do not know it, or He stores it for you with Allah on the Day of Resurrection. So do not despair and do not become discouraged. Supplicate as long as supplication is worship. Why do you not increase in it? Increase in it, whether Allah answers you or not. Do not become discouraged and do not have a bad opinion of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Indeed, Allah the Exalted is Wise. Allah the Exalted says: [Al-Baqarah 2:216] We ask Allah to make us and you successful in what He loves and is pleased with.

that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The supplication of any of you is answered as long as he does not get impatient and say, 'I made supplication and was not answered.'"
أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: يستجاب لأحدكم ما لم يعجل يقول قد دعوت ربي فلم يستجب ليThe supplication of the servant is granted in case he does not supplicate for sin or for severing the ties of blood, or he does not become impatient. It was said: Allah's Messenger, what does:" If he does not grow impatient" imply? He said: That he should say like this: I supplicated and I supplicated but I did not find it being responded. and theu he becomes frustrated and abandons supplication.
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
