The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions:
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) transmitted, in the context of the hadith of al-Nu'aym ibn Sam'an (may Allah be pleased with him) in the chapter on the hadiths of the Dajjal and the signs of the Hour, among other things:
"The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Narrated by Muslim".
The Shaykh : The remainder of the hadith of al-Nu'aym ibn Sam'an (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the story of the Dajjal and so on: 'Isa ibn Maryam descends, as mentioned previously, and kills the Dajjal at the gate of Ludd in Palestine. Ludd is a well-known village now, and it will remain by this name until Allah wills.: meaning in the state they are in. Sahih Muslim 2937a: and these servants are not servants of religion but servants of destiny: [Maryam 19:93], Sunan Ibn Majah 4081Sahih (Darussalam): meaning they pour forth from every high place, because the valleys and ravines cannot contain them, so you find them climbing the mountains to descend to the earth due to their multitude. These are from the children of Adam; they are not jinn or a third category, but they are from the children of Adam. The evidence for this is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: : from the children of Adam, nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand. All of these are in the Fire except one in a thousand from the children of Adam who is from the people of Paradise. One in a thousand in Paradise from the children of Adam, and nine hundred and ninety-nine in the Fire! He said to them (peace and blessings be upon him): : and this third one is doubtful in my view, but it has been reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): .
The important point is that Gog and Magog are from the children of Adam. Their form is the form of the children of Adam; they do not differ from the children of Adam. As for what has been reported in some athar that among them are the extremely short and the extremely tall, and that some of them use one ear as a mat and the other as a blanket—meaning their ears are long—all of this has no truth or basis. They are like the children of Adam, indeed they are from the children of Adam, but they are great nations, as Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Anbya 21:96]: meaning from every height, because the flat land cannot contain them due to their multitude. : they hasten as if they are unleashed upon the children of Adam. : meaning no one has the strength to fight them; no one can fight them; they are beyond their capacity. Sahih Muslim 2937a: meaning take refuge in it. And Tur is a well-known mountain, so 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him) and those with him ascend to Tur and are besieged there, until they are afflicted by hunger and the severity of the burden such that the head of a cow is more beloved to one of them than so much and so much in dinars. : they call upon Allah the Exalted to drive away these nations that have besieged them on this mountain. : which is a worm in their necks, a gadfly in their necks. : the plural of prey, meaning dead bodies. : all these nations, which no one can count except Allah, die in a single night, because the matter is in the hand of whom? In the hand of Allah Mighty and Majestic. This gadfly, as soon as it enters their necks, they die immediately.
Then 'Isa ibn Maryam and his people descend to the earth, and the earth is filled with these corpses, stinking and with a foul smell. So 'Isa and his people seek refuge in Allah Mighty and Majestic to relieve them of this.: meaning birds like the necks of camels, large and strong birds that take one of them and cast them into the sea. And this means that they are great birds whose number is known only to Allah Mighty and Majestic. All of this is by the power of Allah Glorified and Exalted, because when He wills a thing, He says to it "Be," and it is. Do not be surprised, do not say: "Where did the birds come from, and how were they created, and how did they multiply?" Allah is capable of all things. These birds, like the necks of camels, carry one and cast him into the sea, and no one remains among them.
But as you know, something of the dirt, harm, and smell must remain on the earth after these corpses. So Allah the Exalted sends a great rain that washes the earth.: the entire earth is filled with water until it is like a polished stone: it is cleaned completely by the permission of Allah Mighty and Majestic.
: and it is one, but Allah descends blessing upon it, Mighty and Majestic. He descends blessing upon it so that it suffices nations, and the bounties and blessings multiply. All of this indicates the greatness and power of Allah Mighty and Majestic: [Ash-Sharh 94:5-6]. Instead of being besieged on Tur, where one of them wished for the head of a cow and found nothing, behold the earth sprouts and blessing and fruits descend upon it, and the sustenance abounds, among other things. All of this is by the command of Allah Mighty and Majestic. And Allah grants success.
Then 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him) will come to a people whom Allah has protected from him, and he will wipe their faces and inform them of their ranks in Paradise. While he is thus, Allah the Exalted will reveal to 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him): "I have sent forth a group of My servants, against whom no one has the power to fight, so take My servants to Mount Tur." And Allah will send forth Ya'juj and Ma'juj, and they will pour out from every height. Their first ranks will pass by Lake Tiberias and drink up its water, and their last ranks will pass by and say, "There was water here a moment ago." The Prophet of Allah, 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him), and his companions will be besieged until the head of a cow will be worth more to one of them than a hundred dinars is to one of you today. The Prophet of Allah, 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him), and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) will then supplicate to Allah the Exalted, and Allah the Exalted will send a gadfly in their necks, so they will die in the morning like the death of a single soul. Then the Prophet of Allah, 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him), and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) will descend to the earth, and they will find no place on the earth the size of a handspan that is not filled with their fat and stench. The Prophet of Allah, 'Isa (peace and blessings be upon him), and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) will then supplicate to Allah the Exalted, and Allah the Exalted will send birds with necks like those of camels, which will carry them and cast them wherever Allah wills. Then Allah Mighty and Majestic will send a rain that no mud-brick house or tent can withstand, which will wash the earth until it leaves it like a mirror. Then it will be said to the earth, "Bring forth your fruit and return your blessing." On that day, a group of people will eat from a single pomegranate and take shelter under its rind. And there will be a blessing in the milk, so that a lactating camel will suffice a large group of people, a lactating cow will suffice a tribe, and a lactating sheep will suffice a clan. While they are thus, Allah the Exalted will send a gentle wind that will take them under their armpits, and it will take the soul of every believer and every Muslim. The worst of people will remain, frolicking about like donkeys, and for them the Hour will be established.

Ludd is a well-known village now, and it will remain by this name until Allah wills.

ثم يأتي عيسى بن مريم قومٌ قد عصمهم الله تعالى من فتنة الدجال : فيمسح على وجوههم ويبشرهم بمنازلهم في الجنة ، فبينما هم كذلكthat Allah would reveal to Jesus these words: I have brought forth from amongst My servants such people against whom none would be able to fight
There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant.
Gog and Magog people, who will: "swoop down from every mound."
Indeed, Allah the Exalted will say on the Day of Resurrection: "O Adam!" He will say: "Here I am, at your service." Allah will say to him: "Send forth from your descendants a group to the Fire, or He said: the group of the Fire." He said: "O my Lord, what is the group of the Fire?" He said: "Out of every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine."
This was a great burden for the Companions and it weighed heavily on them, and they said: "O Messenger of Allah, who is that one person?"
!"Rejoice, for you are among two nations that are numerous in everything: Ya'juj and Ma'juj. One of you and a thousand from Ya'juj and Ma'juj." The Companions rejoiced at this. Then he said: "I hope that you will be a quarter of the people of Paradise." The Companions exalted Allah in joy at the blessing of Allah Mighty and Majestic. Then he said: "I hope that you will be half of the people of Paradise." They exalted Allah and rejoiced. Then he said: "I hope that you will be two-thirds of the people of Paradise."
That the people of Paradise are one hundred and twenty rows, of which eighty are from this Ummah
The important point is that Gog and Magog are from the children of Adam. and they, from every elevation, descend
وهم من كل حدب ينسلونthey will pour out
Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will say to 'Isa: "I have sent forth servants against whom no one has the power to fight."
فيقول الله عز وجل لعيسى : إني قد بعثت عبادا لا يدان لأحد بقتالهمyou take these people safely to Tur
And at that time, 'Isa and his people will turn to Allah, Mighty and Majestic, in supplication.
So Allah, the Exalted, will send the naghaf.
So they will become prey.
As if it were a single soul.
Then 'Isa ibn Maryam and his people descend to the earth, and the earth is filled with these corpses, stinking and with a foul smell. So 'Isa and his people seek refuge in Allah Mighty and Majestic to relieve them of this.
