Taking the family relocation allowance through forgery

Question: If an employee is entitled to a family relocation allowance upon his appointment, to move his family from his hometown to his place of work, but he does not actually relocate his family, and instead forges documents and receives the amount, is that permissible or not?

Answer: This action is not permissible in the pure Shari'ah; because it is acquiring wealth through lying and deception, and whatever is of this nature is forbidden, and it must be denounced and people must be warned against it. May Allah provide everyone with well-being from that.
