Ruling on a prayer-worshipper’s doubt regarding the impurity of his garment

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q113: The questioner says: If a person praying doubts whether his garment is impure and does not leave the prayer immediately upon that doubt, but then finds the impurity on his garment after finishing the prayer, what is the ruling? And should he leave the prayer immediately upon the doubt in such a case, or wait until the prayer is completed?
A113: If he knows that there is impurity on his garment while he is in the middle of the prayer, and if he is able to remove the garment and remain in another garment that covers him, then it is obligatory for him to remove the garment containing the impurity, remain in what covers his private parts, and complete his prayer. Indeed, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knew that there was harm in his sandals, he removed them while he was praying and completed his prayer (peace and blessings be upon him). However, if it is not possible for him to remove the garment containing the impurity, then he should leave the prayer, wash the impurity, and then start the prayer anew; because the purity of the garment, the body, and the place of prayer are among the conditions for the validity of the prayer.
