Ruling on the prayer of one whose garment and body were touched by the impurity of his young daughter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A question from: M. H. M. of Makkah al-Mukarramah, who says: During my prayer, my young daughter, who had not yet reached seven years of age, touched me, and she had urine on her. This caused wetness on my clothes and my body. What is the ruling on my prayer?

A: If you did not know about it until after the prayer, your prayer is valid. Likewise, if one prays and there is impurity on his garment or his body, and he forgets it and does not remember it until after the prayer, his prayer is valid. This is based on the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.رَبَّنَا لا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
[al-Baqarah: 286]. It is also authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said:
He has done soقد فعلت
.
It is also authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that one day he entered prayer while there was filth in his sandals. Jibril informed him of this, so he removed his sandals and continued his prayer without restarting it. This indicates that ignorance of impurity is an excuse for one who was ignorant of it during the prayer until he said the taslim, and for one who was pointed to it during the prayer and removed the thing containing the impurity, such as a sandal, a turban, a cloak, or the like.
And success is from Allah.
