Ruling on a man touching a woman's head during ruqyah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some reciters say: He places his hand on the head of the woman for whom he is reciting. What is the ruling on that?

Answer:
If it is behind a barrier, there is no harm. If it is behind a barrier to steady the recitation, that is fine. But direct contact is not allowed. If it is behind a barrier, or behind a khimar, or behind the abaya that keeps her head from moving so he can recite over her, that is permissible.
