Q 4: Does merely touching or scratching the private parts, even over clothing, invalidate the ablution if one’s desire does not stir?
A 4: Praise be to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger, his family, and his Companions.. After that: If you touch one of your private parts without a barrier, the ablution is invalidated, even without desire. However, if the touch is through a barrier, the ablution is not invalidated. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
